- VB needs to do this asap:
- Take over as CEO
- FICAC to scrutinize the FRU's accounts
- Reinstate Wai as coach
- Appoint Savou to be the national touch rugby coach
- Tavanavanua can be used as a water boy for the national soccer side
lassen Sie uns beten!!!!!

- The team did the best they could do. The new kid from Ra Matanavou played a grand game but wasn't given the opporturnity to show his speed. I think Savou will need a good Manager. The public should not only go after Savou because the main culprit is Opetia Ravai a man who knows nothing about rugby. He only knows how to masipolo!!
Come on Tim and Rafa sack your old scholar or you can all go! Ravai's masipolo must be to hard to resist.

what just happened. haven't Fiji played rugby before?
The standard of the team was known from the first game against Korea. It was just luck they won against Korea otherwise Korea and Kenya were better team in regards to composure abd discpline.
And what the Vunibaka was doing in the team at the first place. I thought that he was long gone from 7's rugby. Did anyone ever noticed Vunibaka doing anything constructive through that tournament. (Please dont bring in the past, I know he was once a very good player). But he was the SILENT captain. never saw him motivating the players.
As for the coach, the FRU may follow the sacking tradition. Bring back the maestro. But do not expect every miracle from Serevi others should contribute as well....the word SUPPORT PLAY..does it ring any bells. He has done his utmost best for Fiji.
The full blame should go to the selectors....I just hesitantly hope for the best in the World Cup

- The writing is on the wall. The thousands and thousands of rugby fans out there is crying for the return of Serevi to the sevens fraternity. At least as player or coach. I remember when he mentioned in the dailies about returning as a player and be considered to represent Fiji for last time in Happy Valley. I understand that he was hurt by the way FRU has come with guidelines or rules for any players to go through in order to be considered. This is a tactic that FRU has created to suit their own agenda against the Wizard. I've mentioned in my last posting that Joe needs Serevi and more so the boys in the team like Ryder, Nabuliwaqa to name a few that Serevi had spend a tremendous amount of time to mould them physically and psychologically in the game of Sevens. Lastly, I wish to congratulate the boys for a job well done. WIN OR LOOSE.I'm supporting you here.

- what will it take for FRU to realise they made a mistake to take our KING serevi out. you need him. we need him.... listen to heart of 100000

- We needed Misi to contest the kick offs. We needed Serevis guidance coz with the little ball the boys had they just looked lost.

- Fiji should easily go pass the Quaters re-evaluate their capabilities and re-align their strategies in readiness for the Semifinal...One key weakness identified was the lack of gap creative skills to penetrate the opposition defense line while in possession...It seems only Ryder has it clear-cut..Hope theres more to the Team thats yet to meet the eye...

- Call a diamond the diamond and not a rock. So,boys just run the ball straight to the score line and not sideways or backwards if you are almost there. Don't waste any second. It's PRECIOUS.

- So far, good but yet the weak link still exist, Vunibaka may need to be more aggressive and offload when committing tacklers instead of the usually grounding himself thus allowing the opposition to settle for defence or breaking the momentum gained or continuity to the follow up players. He is still adapting to his new role as a forward and captaincy calling the shot. A task that additionally carries weight instead of playing in his usual position and calling the shot, however it is unfortunate that he has lost a little pace and agility. Volavola is yet to reach his last form and probably he should be coming in as sub.
The team should be wary of Kenyans kick and chase tact they normally adopt when playing seeded team. They are naturally gifted powerful runners considering the high altitude that place them ahead of quick recovery rate and continuity at high pace game. Several of our key players are yet to reach the sevens fitness after switching from fifteens fitness and weight. They have seem to be undecided weather to contest the new kick , follow through or long goal line raking kick and force the opposition to kick for touch.
One can only applaud the aggressive and fast rugby displayed by Samoa and England - total commitment and with pace and aggressiveness.
Anyway good luck and please remember it is a team effort and surge with clean and aggressive game pattern.
