FIJI is in the same pool as Australia and Samoa in San Diego this weekend. Both teams were in the last four at Wellington. Do you think we can overcome them in pool play?

- What does Savou have to say now? The team has been camping from before Christmas. No other coach on the IRB circuit has the depth of a player pool to pick from like the national sevens in Lautoka. He is still working on the same areas of weakness and the team just gets worse by the tournament. He should stop saying silly things like he knows they will win because they have determination not to lose.
How many teams go to the series without determination and how many teams do not want to lose?

People in Fiji and all over should praise this team for the hardwork and give these new players a chance.They're out there on the fields giving their best for each Kai-Viti out there.I can imagine all the criticism the team was given after Wellington 7's. Of course so many questions were attacked at the coach, captain, FRU etc.Its not the end of the world people. Toso Viti you can do it again in San Diego just like last year.

- yes,fiji can reach the last eight but they have to start playing some structured rugby.what i mean is defence to be organised,no missed tackles,play flow rugby and use the width of the field to spread the ball.with this improvement they can even win the tournament.

Well at least we are getting some answers from FRU - can please you make it public [paper and radio], not in this blog site so it reaches the 4 corners of our isle. When is that later series you are referring to? What year? I think you are getting out of touch by your comments – I think some of us have “ball the cat on the field more than you, even to national colours – all are constructive comments – it may shed some lights – at least you take on board the good and leave the bad – it is only healthy to have a wide perspective from all over than a few at FRU?
You understand very well that all current coaches and those affiliated with FRU will have a positive comments or just sitting on the fence to stay put on their appointments[$$] at least we outsiders are providing you and FRU a different angle so a best possible strategy may surface. Remember we may be playing a strategy by other nations that you all need to counter – other nations are not sitting ducks. Look at the teams who have recently made amendments after Wellington before LA.
If NZ is consistent and won all last series accept one to Fiji – so when this later series and consistency as NZ is. It hurt our guts when we have the best but looser in the end. All we need is a clear comments and what is the plan behind this IRB series so it goes down well with all.

- They will not reach the quarters if the coach himself has got Samoa on his mind as mention on the Fiji Times today, that is underestimating Australia. dont be surprise if the australian team show them some running rugby. But for the San Diego 7's, Fiji will have to really try and prove themselve, that they are still in contestion for the 07/08 irb series, Savou doesn't set goals, like what Serevi use to do, they are just focus on playing the tournament and not winning the series which is really stupid, i dont know what Rafaele and the games committee see in him. so winning is not in their mind at all....Sad to say this, becoz if you have diffenrences against some players then you are closing doors to some best 7's players...But all the best anyway.

- fiji will not only make it to the last eight but wil also beat ausi's by well over 20 points.samoa fiji clash will be tough but fiji team has a point to prove so i am sure that fiji will beat samoa a try difference.may be 17-21 in favour of fiji.
fiji will definatly make it into the finals and will also defeat south africa.
i think fiji will meet england in the semis and nz will meet south africa.
